N1 Admission Procedures

2027/28 School Year

1. N1 Admission

   • Session: Afternoon class
   • Age of admission: Born in 2025 (children must be at least two years old upon admission)
   • There is no quota for online applications.

   The following applicants are automatically offered an interview:

   • Younger siblings of our graduates
   • Younger siblings of current students
   • Children of our staff
   • Children of our school managers

2. Online Application Period

   • Online applications are accepted from 9:00 AM on 9 November 2026 to 11:59 PM on 23 November 2026.
   • Application forms are not distributed at the school. Please apply through the online system.
   • Please prepare a digital copy of a front-facing passport-style photo of your child (1.5 × 2 inches, in JPG, GIF or PNG format) to upload with the online application. Incomplete applications cannot be submitted.
   • Applicants will receive a confirmation email as soon as their application is submitted. If you do not receive one, please contact the school as soon as possible.
   • On 25 November 2026, the school will send letters to all applicants invited for an interview, giving the interview date and time.

3. Information Session

   To help parents learn about our school’s educational philosophy, mission and curriculum, the school will hold the 2027/28 N1 Information Session from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on 21 November 2026.

   The information session is open to everyone. If you would like to attend, please complete the registration form between 26 October and 15 November 2026 using the link on the “N1 Admission Information” page of our website.

4. Application Fee

   The N1 application fee is HK$40 per applicant (non-refundable), payable on the day of the interview.

5. Interviews

   • Interview date: 5 December 2026
   • Each child must be accompanied by one parent at the interview.

6. Admission Criteria

   Our admission process is fair, impartial and open.

   • The main consideration is the child’s overall performance on the day of the interview.

   Priority may be given to:

   • Children with siblings currently studying at our school
   • Children of full-time staff of our school

   As places are limited, not every applicant who meets the priority criteria will be offered a place.

7. Interview Results

   • Parents will be notified of the interview results by letter on 16 December 2026.
   • If you have not received a letter by 21 December 2026, please call the school.

8. Registration

   • Registration dates: 14 to 16 January 2027 (Thursday to Saturday)
   • The registration fee for the 2027/28 half-day class is HK$970.
   • Parents who decline a place after paying the registration fee must inform the school in writing. The registration fee is non-refundable.
   • If you cannot register on the dates above, please call the school to make other arrangements. Otherwise, the place will be offered to a child on the waiting list.

9. Waiting List

   • If a place becomes available, the school will contact the parents of children on the waiting list by phone.
   • The registration fee and refund terms are the same as above.

10. Other Arrangements

    • In early May 2027, the school will send parents a letter about paying for books and miscellaneous fees.
    • On a Saturday in June 2027, the school will hold a free Preparatory Class to help children settle into school life.

11. Remarks

    The school provides a school bus service for students travelling to and from the Ma On Shan area.
